Wildwood Crest renames park in memory of 9/11 victim Andrew Alameno

Turtle Gut Park, a small park in Wildwood Crest, has been renamed Andrew Alameno Park by unanimous vote of the Board of Commissioners. Wildwood native Andrew Alameno was killed in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks while working for Cantor Fitzgerald at the age of 37.

A memorial to Mr. Alameno has always been a feature of the park, reports Bill Barlow of the Press of Atlantic City.
