Answering the call: NYPD ships 11 large containers full of relief supplies to Haiti

The NYPD has been gathering relief supplies for earthquake victims in Haiti since the earthquake happened. They have now sent 100 tons of supplies to help those who are struggling.

In Miami area collapse, echoes of 9/11 in the grief and rubble

Retired FDNY Assistant Chief Joseph Pfeifer, who is a September 11th family member in addition to responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and working the recovery efforts, and retired NYPD ESU Detective Mike Corr spoke to reporters about the difficulties faced in the Florida apartment building collapse.

Retired FDNY members honor teen burn survivor

The Florida-based FDNY 343 Memorial Club, composed of retired FDNY members, have honored Parker Rowell, a 15-year-old boy who suffered severe burns in an accident.
