Future paramedic honored with scholarship named for first responder lost to 9/11 illness

Ashley Williams, who works for ambulance companies in Nyack, New City, and Congers, has won a scholarship named for Frank DiGianni, EMT paramedic for Rockland Paramedic Services, who died of site-related cancer last year at the age of 62, reports Nancy Cutler for the  Rockland/Westchester Journal News.

Half Hollow Hills receives $6K donation from Tom Collins/Chris Panatier 9/11 Memorial Foundation

The Half Hollow Hills Central School District in Long Island has received a donation of $6,000 from the Tom Collins/Chris Panatier 9/11 Memorial Foundation, a charity that honors two men murdered in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
