Tony Jimenez, 69, a Vietnam veteran and volunteer firefighter who volunteered to work at the site of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of 2001 has a new kidney thanks to the niece he saved from drug addiction ten years ago.
On November 30, 2020, Julianne Jimenez donated a kidney to her ailing uncle in gratitude for his help, reports Laura Lane of the Long Island Herald. Both are now doing well.
