Little help for New York 9/11 survivors eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine

While the thousands of people with World Trade Center-related illnesses are more vulnerable to COVID-19 than the general population, the World Trade Center Health Program they rely on has no access to vaccines and no way to help people find one.

According to the WTC Health Program, 3,772 people on the registry have had COVID. It is unclear how they are tracking this number.

Scooty Nickerson of The City interviewed several people from the 9/11 community about COVID-19 risk.
