Idaho fireman honors fallen 9/11 FF George C. Cain at World Trade Center stair climb

An Idaho firefighter climbed 72 flights of stairs to honor FF George C. Cain of Ladder 7 second annual New York City Firefighter Stair Climb on March 16, 2016.

Each of the 343 9/11 firefighters had a climber ascending the stairs in his name, writes Arielle Harrison of KMVT/KSVT Idaho.

Larry Bybee of Jerome, Idaho was able to speak with Cain’s mother, before the climb.

“She was grateful there were people out there who were out there honoring each and every one of these firefighters across the country.”
