FDNY paramedics and EMTs who worked during the recovery efforts after the 9/11 attacks and now suffer from illnesses say the city is denying them disability pensions.
EMS personnel are denied disability pensions at a higher rate than firefighters, according to records seen by Carl Campanile of the NY Post.
