Alleged 9/11 mastermind open to helping victims’ lawsuit if U.S. spares him death penalty

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who is being held in Guantanamo Bay pending his trial for allegedly masterminding the September 11th terrorist attacks might be willing to help victims of the terrorist attacks in their lawsuit against Saudi Arabia provided that he is spared the death penalty.

“9/11 First Responders’ Fund” clears Senate and heads to Trump

After years of bureaucracy, this week the Senate approved H.R. 1327 the Never Forget the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act, legislation that will provide permanently for those sickened or killed by exposure to the toxins of the World Trade Center site.
