FDNY Fire Captain from Long Island, John Moschella, dies from 9/11-related cancer

Captain John Moschella, 52, of Long Beach, who retired earlier this year from the FDNY, died on December 8, 2018 from cancer related to his work at the site of the World Trade Center after the September 11 terror attacks, reports Alex Costello for the Long Beach Patch.

Moschella served in the FDNY for 28 years.
