The City of Yonkers Fire & Police Memorial is 14 years old. Some of the names on it are now weather-beaten, the stairs have become uneven, and new names of officers who have died from World Trade Center-related illnesses need to be added.
But a non-profit group called Police and Fire Memorial Foundation of Yonkers is raising funds to help, reports News 12.
