With Its Focus on Air Travel, U.S. Leaves Trains Vulnerable to Attack, Experts Say

Ron Nixon, in the  December 11, 2015 New York Times, discusses the hundreds of billions of dollars spent by the federal government to protect transportation systems, mostly airports, and the gap this leaves for trains and other transportation methods.

Rail facilities, in particular, remain vulnerable to terrorist attacks, claim some experts.
