On December 11, 2015, Erik Lacitis wrote in the Seattle Times that some residents of Milton, Washington do not want the 36-foot tall piece of steel from the 91st to 94th floors of the South Tower of the World Trade Center to be used as a memorial. Milton’s mayor has heard complaints from residents that the steel is “too big”.
