Well-wishes for NYPD Detective Anthony Favara after 32 years on the job

Detective Anthony Favara retired from the 122 Precinct of the NYPD after 32 years on the job. His career with the NYPD, including more than 20 years on the elite Emergency Service Unit, included responding to both the 1993 and 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, writes Victoria Priola in the Staten Island Advance.

Detective Favara worked during the recovery effort after the 9/11 attacks and recovered artifacts for the National September 11 Museum.
