Detective Anthony Favara retired from the 122 Precinct of the NYPD after 32 years on the job. His career with the NYPD, including more than 20 years on the elite Emergency Service Unit, included responding to both the 1993 and 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, writes Victoria Priola in the Staten Island Advance.
