Town dedicates E. Patchogue roadway to 9/11 welder Mark Gajewski

Welder Mark Gajewski spent months working in the rubble of the World Trade Center site during the recovery effort.

He died of site-related cancer in 2017.

Now his town, East Patchogue, has dedicated a portion of Martha Avenue to be “Mark W. Gajewski Way” in his honor, reports Greater Long Island.com.
