The 9/11 Responders Remembered Wall in Nesconset will bear the names of people who died of COVID-19 if they also suffered from a World Trade Center-related illness.
A decision was made after weeks of deliberation, reports Chelsea Irizarry for NY Newsday.
The wall currently bears more than 1,500 names of those who died of certified 9/11 illnesses.
