The 9/11 chalk portraits are gone. You can see them on video

A group of artists made large chalk portraits of the 40 heroes of United Flight 93 on the sidewalks of the Flight 93 National Memorial, knowing that the portraits would slowly vanish due to weather and time.

You can see the portraits online here, even though they no longer exist on the site, reports Bob Batz, Jr. for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
