Team Shamrock getting ready to break ground for local vet’s ‘smart home’

Team Shamrock is preparing to break ground on a “smart home” for Belmar, NJ veteran Scott Nokes, who lost both legs and his sight from his service in Afghanistan.

Team Shamrock was founded by Kathy Cunningham to honor her late brother, Don Robertson, Jr., who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Team Shamrock has raised approximately $1,000,000 since the attacks to build two smart homes for wounded veterans via the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, reports Cathy Goetz for Tapinto.net.

Each smart home is custom-designed for the needs of the house’s new owner.
