Stride and Ride Relay pays tribute to those killed since 9/11 in Old Bridge

The town of Old Bridge hosted members of the Stride and Ride Relay and received a plaque from them bearing the names of the 15 residents of Old Bridge who were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Stride and Ride educates people about the date October 7, 2001, which is when the first troops were deployed for the war against terror.

The annual Stride and Ride Relay walkers travel 911 miles from Boston’s Logan Airport where Flight 11 and Flight 175 originated, and walk to Arlington National Ceremony reports Christopher Lang for Monroe Now.
