Russian teen wins skating world title with routine based on 9/11

Reuters reports the story of Russian skater Evgenia Medvedeva, 17, winnning the gold medal at the World Figure Skating Championships with a routine that began with audio of President Bush announcing that planes had struck the World Trade Center. The routine, to music from the film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, depicts the skater losing a loved one in the terrorist attacks.
