Rockland ceremony adds 3 police officers to memorial wall

Three Rockland County police officers who have died of World Trade Center-related illnesses were added to the Rockland County memorial wall by the courthouse in New City, reports Karen Roberts in Lower Hudson.com.

Officer James Betso of Pearl River, Sergeant Michael Galvin of Thiells and Deputy Chief Steven Bonano of Nanuet all died in 2015 of illnesses they contracted while working the recovery operation at the World Trade Center in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.
