Postcards Memorial clean-up project to begin Friday

The St. George 9/11 Postcards Memorial on the Staten Island waterfront is being cleaned.

The 30-foot white granite wings or “postcards” to those Staten Islanders killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 will be cleaned in time for this year’s anniversary of the attacks, writes Paul Liotta for the Staten Island Advance.
