GOP Rep. Steube joined army because WTC terror attacks, but he’s clueless over 9/11 bill

Rookie Congressman Greg Steube says he joined the Army because of the September 11th terrorist attacks, but has not cosigned the “Never Forget the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the September 11 Victim Compensation Act” and isn’t sure whether or not he was in attendance when the Judiciary Committee unanimously voted the bill to a vote in the House.

Steube said, “I wasn’t on the subcommittee that had the hearing. It hasn’t come before — it voiced out in Judiciary, I don’t know if I was there — I think I was there — when it voiced out or not. I haven’t looked or reviewed it in detail,” reports Michael McAuliff of the New York Daily News.
