Photos help preserve memory of Amy King

Deborah King Lloyd, the sister of Flight 175 flight attendant Amy King found black and white photos that Amy had taken in the summer of 2001 a year after her sister’s death on 9/11.

She spoke with Eric Tichy of the Post Journal September 11, 2021 about finding the photos, the 20th anniversary of the attacks, and about grief.

“You just learn to move on, to live without that person. It never becomes easier — you become more adaptive, but that hole is still there, and that never gets any easier. You just try to hang on to every single memory you can.”
