Dog park to be named in memory of American Airlines Flight 11 crew member Sara Low

Animal-loving flight attendant Sara Low, who was killed aboard American Airlines Flight 11 during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, will have a dog park in her hometown, Batesville, Arkansas, named for her, reports Tammy Keith for Arkansas Online.

The Sara Low Memorial Dog Park will be adjacent to Riverside Park and should open by October 2018.

Initial designs for the dog park show separate areas for small and large dogs, a large pavilion for people with a plaque to Sara Low inside, and water fountains for both dogs and people.

The next public meeting concerning the dog park will be held at the Batesville Community Center on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 5:30pm.
