Atlanta FBI Special Agent in Charge David LeValley dies of complications from role at World Trade Center

FBI Atlanta Special Agent in Charge David LeValley died Saturday of World Trade Center-related illness.

He served as the special agent in charge of the Atlanta Division since November 2016, reports WSBTV. He became a special agent with the FBI in 1996 and was assigned to the New York Division and spent weeks at the site of the former World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

Funeral arrangements will be posted.
