This week, New York lawmakers voted 15 to 11 against a bipartisan bill that would have provided college tuition at CUNY and SUNY schools to the family members of New York military personnel killed in the line of duty.
The vote essentially stops the bill from reaching a floor vote this season, reports Mark Weiner for Syracuse.com.
