Musical “Come from Away” celebrates first anniversary with international sing-along

This week marks the one-year anniversary of the Broadway opening of the musical Come from Away, the story of the people of  Gander, Newfoundland helping hundreds of people stranded by the terrorist attacks of 9/11. To celebrate, the cast released a video of people from all over the world singing one of the show’s songs, reports Tara Bradbury.

Come from Away tells stories of the passengers of 38 airliners stranded in tiny Gander after the closing of U.S. airspace because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the local residents who cared for them.

The video can be seen here.
