Mother shares 9/11 memories of daughter’s last phone call

At the Town of Deerpark’s September 11th Memorial Service this year, after the official speeches, the attendees are invited to share their stories. This year, family member Mary Bratton recounted her last phone call with her daughter, Michelle Renee Bratton, who was 23 and working for Cantor Fitzgerald on the day of the attacks.

Mary and her husband Bill were staying with Bill’s parents that morning, when she got a terrified call from her daughter, reported Sharon E. Siegel for The Record Online. Many in the crowd wept at her story.
