Mental health hotlines for first responders, healthcare workers, cops go live in N.J.

New mental COVID-based health hotlines and support groups are now available for New Jersey-based healthcare workers, police officers, and firefighters, reports Susan K. Livio of NJ.com.

HEAL NJ Healthcare Workers COVID Hope & Healing Helpline is available daily from 8:00am until 8:00pm at 1-833-416-8773.

RISE: NJ First Responders COVID Hope & Healing Helpline at 1-833-237-4325, is also available from 8:00am until 8:00pm. Support groups can be found here.

NJ Suicide Prevention Hopeline – 1-855-654-6735.

At other times, those in crisis in NJ may dial “1,″ and speak with the NJ Suicide Prevention Hopeline. It may be dialed directly: 1-855-654-6735.
