Trucker Dukes, a three-year-old boy suffering from stage IV neuroblastoma will be named an honorary firefighter by the FDNY later this month, reports KHON Channel 2.
The boy met FDNY Captain Jim Grismer while visiting the city from his home in Maui for treatment at Sloane Kettering.

The firefighters gave him a birthday party at their firehouse and arranged for his induction as an honorary FDNY member.
