FDNY Lt. Larry Mack took on the care of the family of his best friend, Lt. Vincent Halloran, after Halloran made the supreme sacrifice on September 11, 2001 during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. In addition to his own two children, Lt. Mack treated Lt. Halloran’s children as his own. Good Morning America learned about the story and made this video.
