Donors were invited to have their cheek swabbed Sunday as part of a bone marrow donor drive for an Eltingville firefighter at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in New Dorp.

The 24-year FDNY veteran, Jimmy Martinez, is in need of a life-saving stem cell transplant.

The event ran from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church’s Hopkins Hall.
