Local jokester turns his ‘emotional support beer’ into reality for charity

Floyd Hayes of Brooklyn registered his beer as an emotional support animal as a joke. Then members of the beer industry contacted him. Now there is indeed Emotional Support Beer — and buying it raises money for service dogs for veterans and first responders with Operation at Ease, reports Aiden Graham of the Brooklyn Paper.

“Beer, while helping veterans and shelter dogs? What a good idea,” said Hayes.
