Kensington block named for Firefighter Michael Bocchino killed on 9/11

Brooklyn’s East Third Street between Caton Avenue and Albermarle Road has been renamed for FDNY Firefighter Michael Leopoldo Bocchino, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Bocchino was a child on East Third Street and worked nearby at Engine Company 240, reports Kathleen Culliton for the Windsor Terrace-Kensington Patch.
