Jon Stewart leads blitz to inform non-first responders of 9/11 health fund

Many people with World Trade Center-related health conditions think that the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund is not for them, but only for those who worked in the rubble of the buildings after the attacks. Jon Stewart is working with the September 11th community to change that misconception, reports Carl Campanile for the NY Post.

Less than a quarter of those who are or would be eligible for lifetime medical care under the WTC health program have enrolled.

People who lived, worked, or went to school in the ‘frozen zone’ are eligible for care.

A forum will be held tomorrow to inform people of their rights.
