Hyde Park trucker never forgot the 9/11 letter tucked into his glove

Dave Triola worked 12-hour shifts as a trucker hauling debris away from the World Trade Center site in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In the middle of one shift, he picked up a new pair of work gloves and found a note from a little girl in Kentucky inside.

Moved by the note, he kept it. Now he has tracked down the sender and a friendship was born, writes Kristina Goetz inĀ USA Today.
