A funeral for two-time Staten Island Advance “Cop of the Month” Police Officer Kelly Korchak was held in Staten Island today. Officer Korchak died of World Trade Center-related illness at the age of 38, reports Mira Wassef in the Staten Island Advance.
Three NYPD helicopters flew over Holy Child Church during her funeral.
Officer Korchak was a rookie in 2001.
