Ellen Saracini, widow of Victor Saracini, the pilot of United Flight 175, killed on 9/11, is working to raise funds to establish an endowment to care for Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield, PA.
Most of the $2,000,000 needed to care for the Garden in perpetuity, is in place, reports Peg Quann Bucks County Courier Times. Only $200,000 remains to be found. A matching donation has been made to encourage people to finish the endowment by September 11 of this year, the 20th anniversary of the attacks.
Eighteen people from Bucks County were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
