Darren Drake Act, named for late Bergen resident, passes House

The Darren Drake Act, H.R. 4089, passed the House of Representatives this week.

Darren Drake was killed in the ISIS lone wolf terrorist attack on a Lower Manhattan bike path on October 31, 2017 when a terrorist in a rented truck mowed down cyclists. The legislation named for him would require employees at car rental businesses to report suspicious behavior to prevent future similar attacks, reports Montana Samuels for Wyckoff Patch.
