Condolences and donations in memoriam for retired FDNY Firefighter Michael S. Kaner

Michael S. Kaner, a retired New York City firefighter who worked the recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 64.

He spent much of his career at Ladder Company 52 in the Bronx. He also volunteered for the American Red Cross and was an EMT.

Memorial contributions in Michael’s name may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, P. O. Box 5028, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

His services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe, NY. (607-498-4929 or 845-439-5200)
