Michael S. Kaner, a retired New York City firefighter who worked the recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 64.
He spent much of his career at Ladder Company 52 in the Bronx. He also volunteered for the American Red Cross and was an EMT.
