Ceremony as last World Trade Center artifacts are removed from Hangar 17

CBS New York reports today that the last artifacts will be removed from Hangar 17, the airplane hangar at John F. Kennedy Airport that stored as many as 2,500 artifacts from the original World Trade Center in a ceremony.

Members of the NYPD, FDNY and the Port Authority Police Departments and Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will gather at Hangar 17 as the final artifacts are removed. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will find homes for the last pieces.
