In Miami area collapse, echoes of 9/11 in the grief and rubble

Retired FDNY Assistant Chief Joseph Pfeifer, who is a September 11th family member in addition to responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and working the recovery efforts, and retired NYPD ESU Detective Mike Corr spoke to reporters about the difficulties faced in the Florida apartment building collapse.

New pilot records database published after push from Flight 3407 families

Families of people killed aboard Flight 3407, including the sisters of 9/11 family member Beverly Eckert, who died aboard Flight 3407, have worked since its 2009 crash to establish a pilot records database to show pilots’ flight histories and other records. That database now exists.
