Brave London 7/7 terror survivor says she ‘feels sorry’ for suicide bomber as she comes face-to-face with terrorist’s dad

Lisa French, 44, survived the 7/7 bombings of 2005 in London. Now, 14 years later, she has met the father of the suicide bomber who tried to kill her.

Mahmood Hussain, father of bomber Hasib Hussain, has written a book calling for regulation of hate preachers in the UK. Although he cannot save the people his son killed, he hopes to help stop other young people from becoming radicalized as his son was, writes Dan Hall for the Sun.

“My heart is broken. I just walk around like a skeleton. There is no place for terrorism in this country, the best country on Earth,” Hussain said.
