Bill would mandate employers inform 9/11 survivors about relief

A bill that died in committee earlier this year,  Assembly Bill A9715A, would require certain businesses in Lower Manhattan to notify their past and present employees of their eligibility for the September 11th victim compensation fund.

Many people exposed to World Trade Center toxins are unaware that they may be eligible for healthcare, reports Kate Lisa for Spectrum News 1.

The bill’s sponsor, Assemblyman Nader Sayegh, hopes to reintroduce the bill.
