Sailors and Marines of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, which includes USS Arlington, are home in Camp Lejeune, NC, after a seven-month deployment, reports Staff Sgt. Brittney Vella for DIVIDS. USS Arlington is the ship that honors the 184 people killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the Pentagon and aboard AA Flight 77, the plane flown into the building by the terrorists.
During deployment, USS Arlington and the MEU liaised with military of Norway, Turkey, and others, and visited 14 countries over 29 port visits.
