The NYPD is monitoring terrorists’ use of drones and preparing to defend New York City from drone attacks, report Shari Logan and Chris Perez in the NY Post.
John Miller, the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism told reporters, “we are seeing terrorists overseas not only experiment, but execute, deadly operations using drones. Again, this is not new. All you have to do is go online and look at the videos that terrorist groups have already posted online about the arming of drones and their use and attacks overseas.”
