Sandy Hook massacre continues to haunt residents five years later

As the fifth anniversary of the Newtown elementary school massacre approaches, Chelsia Rose Marcius, Edgar Sandoval, and Larry McShane of the New York Daily News spoke to family members, survivors and residents of Newtown about how the violence of December 14, 2012 still affects them.

Twenty-six people, twenty of them young children, were shot and killed by a former student of their school, aged 20. His motives are unknown. The shooter killed himself after gunning down his victims.
