9/11 Memorial still operating at a loss

The annual cost to run the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum last year was $111 million, three million dollars more than in 2015, but the museum only made $87.8 million, reports Susan Edelman in theĀ NY Post. This is the organization’s second year running at a loss.

$24 million pays staff salaries, including former CEO Joe Daniels who madeĀ $549,508 last year.

$10.4 million is spent on security.
